I know there are many of you involved in sports analytics. If sports analytics is your game, I would like to hear from you off-list. In particular, there is a gentleman among us who works in stats for the Miami Dolphins whom I would really like to talk to. It?s been several months since I?ve seen him, so I?ve lost track of his name. Jeremy Davis TriLUG PR -------------- next part -------------- TriPython You are invited and highly encouraged to join us Thursday for some SELinux hands on learning! We had a phenomenal meeting on the SELinux topic. There was a huge amount of enthusiastic interest and based on a show of hands there will be a great group in attendance at hack night for some SELinux hands on experience.** Brian Bouterse does an exceptional job of articulating SELinux in a way that is somehow easy to understand. He simply demystifies it so you can comprehend it. Therefore you should really consider attending this upcoming hack night because if you understand SELinux you will instantly gain the respect and admiration of your peers and potential employers. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity!** If you missed the main meeting, be sure to watch the incredibly high quality video. Once you see it you will be hyped about hack night guaranteed!** [1]https://youtu.be/r8Zr9k2jWvE Full details: [2]https://www.trilug.org/2017-03-16/hacknight-se-linux Huge THANKS to Eric Leary of DataKraft for the amazing quality video recording. **[3]www.datakraft.tv Stop disabling SELinux! Message-ID: TriPython, Hey folks, I have a couple questions for the group for those familiar with hack nights at the Caktus location. TriLUG is hosting a hack night at Caktus this Thursday 16 March and wondering if there are any concerns about parking we should be aware of? We had a hack night previously where no one showed most likely due to traffic from an event and seemingly no parking was available. Is there a best resource to check for events that may interfere with parking? I found this blurb on your meetup page and hope no one minds if we use it. ?Park in the municipal deck on the other side of the Arts Council across W. Morgan St. The entrance to the Caktus Tech Space is on Morris St.? Any feedback that would help ease the minds of potential hack night attendees would be much appreciated. Thanks! I am indeed not up to 2.3: $ ansible --version ansible 2.2.1.0 ? I pip?d the latest from pypi because it wasn?t in conda-forge. I?m also running it with (Anaconda) Python 3 which is warned to be experimental. Python 3 and ansible, that is. And on OSX (targets are Centos). I?m just going to yum through a shell task and see if that works. I end up doing that with a lot of ansible modules. I might be better off just making a bash script but I thought I give ansible a whirl. -- Sincerely, Chris Calloway Applications Analyst University of North Carolina Renaissance Computing Institute (919) 599-3530 On 3/14/17, 6:42 AM, "TriZPUG on behalf of David Handy" wrote: I run the "bleeding edge" devel branch of Ansible from here: https://github.com/ansible/ansible Everything I see in the docs is in the devel version, but I sometimes run into bugs too!
