Hey, you might want to check out the action going on at the "PIKtipi" 
camping sprint at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research:

which is the lead up to the annual DZUG meeting (kind of the unofficial 
annual Zope Conference). Topics are being sprinted including Grok, 
Megrok, and ZODB blob support in Zope 2.10 and Plone 3. Philipp, Nate, 
Tres, Tom Lazar, and Jim Fulton are there. There's a lot of traffic
