[Tkinter-discuss] Changing Entry-Widget

Hello together,
 
I'm not sure if that is he right way to ask a question. I'll try.
 
I want to change an input character in an Entry Widget of Tkinter. For
example, if I press the "a"-key, I want to see in the Entry Widget the
character "b". Yet I was not able to "clear" the input-character, so that in
the Entry Widget appears "ba". Is there any help form me? Sorry for my bad
English :-)
