I haven't been able to find much on PyTexas plans for this year but you all are welcome to take a look at our notes that we have posted. While I've been to plenty of conferences I'm really excited to help out. I'd also like to help out on PyTexas in any way that I can. I'm new to Texas (~3 months) so I don't have as much of a feel for the area but I'd like to help get involved and get things rolling if possible. College Station isn't too far from where I am so I'd like to volunteer and help the organization in any way that I can.
