Agreed. Suggestion: change the last row (Any) and add Windows (no specific version) to the operating systems. And add BSD while you're at it. :) Like this: Any Windows/Mac OS X/Linux/Solaris/BSD   1.1a6 (source) POP3/IMAP, etc. Be prepared to get your hands wet... For your information: MailWasher is a commercial product, made by developers who are paid to make it work. Spambayes on the other hand, can be considered as a sort of hobby project that "some guy" made years ago. He put his work online (for free!) and some other people have added a few bits and pieces to make it work for them. That's it. There is no company backing SpamBayes. The people who made it, don't *have* to improve it. They have no need for a large user base. Most importantly, they have no need to pay attention to people who use the words "must" and "quickly". Be grateful that they shared it as-is. After that all seems normal. * Email is Outlook 2003 running on Windows XP * Spambayes is now 1.1a6, (binary version) just downloaded yesterday. The problem was the same with my original version (1.0.4, I think). * If I disable the Spambayes add-in, Outlook starts normally in just a few seconds. Ideas? Register for a Gmail account (if you're an Android user then you probably already have that) and configure it to fetch your Verizon mail. Gmail's spam filter is very efficient.
