[Spambayes] Hard Drive IO's

A Question for you.

I have the current version of Spambays and I’m running Windows XP.

Every time I start Outlook (my email program) my system does 1.6 million
reads to my hard drive prior to reading my email from the server.

Without Spambays this does not happen.

Any ideas why?
