I removed it first using the instructions to delete it under the customize procedure and it never came back. It isn't even the box to check it. It is totally gone. I have removed and reinstalled SB about 4 times and even re-booted after each step the last time but I still don't have the SB menu on my tool bar. When I right click the only options I have are standard, advance, menu and web but no sb. If you have any ideas I would appreciate it. fyi, after some time I finally got the add-in activated but I still don't have the menu bar. I am using WXP and SB version 1.0.4. I don't know how to access the log files without the menu bar. Thank you Steven L. Then all of a sudden yesterday when I try to train spambayes a message comes up saying "cannot connect to POP server". I am also getting the several copies of the same emails in my inbox as if they are not getting deleted off my server and today I did not get any new messages. When I check my email through my email servers website I can receive all my current messages, but for some reason they are no longer coming through into Outlook Express and spambayes is not able to talk to my email server. I have not changed any of my settings..someone suggested I uninstall spambayes and then reinstall? Do you think this might work? Finally we got it installed, and now it is causing Spambayes not to function. Spambayes toolbar is present in Outlook, but when clicking the Spambayes button, the submenu won't come up. Can't get into Spambayes Manager, etc. We of course don't want to have to get rid of Spambayes, but unless I can find a fix, we might have to. And I'm not saying the problem isn't with the Sales Force program. That might very well be so, but it looks like the company is more interested in keeping the Sales Force add-in. Are there any fixes that would help Spambayes to run better with other Outlook Add-ons? Or to make Outlook work better with multiple add-in programs? Which version of John> SpamBayes should I download? Isn't Windows Live Mail their Hotmail/Gmail/Yahoo! Mail thing? If so, I doubt SpamBayes can help. If, on the other hand, it is the replacement for Outlook Express you should be able to use the POP3 proxy or IMAP filter with it, depending how you connect to your mail server. In either case you'd probably have to download Python and SpamBayes and install on your own. I rather suspect the SpamBayes binary installer will detect Windows Live Mail. The latest version is 1.1a4. Despite its "alpha" numbering it is quite stable and has several improvements over the 1.0.4 version. -- Skip Montanaro - skip at pobox.com - http://smontanaro.dyndns.org/
