[Spambayes] Getting it to work

How do you get this program to work?

What does this load of gobbledegook mean "In your email client's configuration, where you would normally put your POP3 server address, you should now put the address of the machine running SpamBayes."

I know what a POP3 server address is but the rest is a mystery.
