1. The file you downloaded would have had a version number (1.0b1, as it
happens) at the end of its name.

2. If you go to the "Add/Remove Programs" control panel, there should be a
version number with the SpamBayes entry.

3. If you select "SpamBayes Manager" from the SpamBayes menu, the version is
just under the "SpamBayes" image.

4. If you choose "Check for new version" from the SpamBayes menu, it'll tell
you that you're using the latest (but, deliberately, not which number it
is).

5. If you read the troubleshooting manual (accessible via the Help menu on
the SpamBayes menu, or, IIRC, the Start menu), it explains how to find the
log files that you should include when asking for help. These logs include
the version number.

Either you're looking at the wrong folder, or you've got Outlook set to not
display all messages in that folder. Either way, see FAQ 3.12 for help:

I presume you have figured out that you need to disable SpamBayes (or figure
out the above) to get help, so you will read this. Otherwise, there really
doesn't seem to be much point posting a message asking for help...

Please always include the list (spambayes at python.org) in your replies
(reply-all), and please don't send me personal mail about SpamBayes. This
way, you get everyone's help, and avoid a lack of replies when I'm busy.
