[Spambayes] Question about disabling

Can Spambayes be set to ONLY run when I download messages (ie, when I click
on "send/receive") instead of always running? It is annoying to wait for the
filtering process when I am only using Outlook for outbound data (which I do
a lot by clicking on "mailto" tags).
