[Spambayes] Pop3proxy training suddenly quit working

I tried that just now. I still do not see cached messages nor can I train. 

At this point I am reduced to trying to reverse-engineer the code, put in 
debugging print statements, etc. I was hoping first to eliminate any other 
probable causes.
