Yeah, this is exactly why I decided to use it :)

Except of course that if we wait until we have loaded the config file etc,
there is a whole lot that could have gone wrong that will not be in the log.
It is important the log be created at the very earliest opportunity.

Why? It can be safely deleted, and if everything is working fine, no user
should ever need to see it. In the ideal world, we wouldn't need *any* log
as we wouldn't have any bugs <wink>. These files are *not* "application
data" in the sense that they need to follow the user profile etc. I am
afraid I am unconvinced.
