Initial Comment:
I installed, configured and trained one day.  Everything 
worked great.  

Next day, it says that I no longer have any items in the 
database.  The "delete as spam" and "filter now" buttons 
no longer work.  The log files show that there are COM 
errors.

This looks similar to bug 689298.

Dupe of [ 706520 ] assert fails in classifier.

The solution is to do a "full retrain" - that is, go to
"Anti-Spam Manager->Train Now, and select the "Rebuild
Entire Database" option.
