Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: darh42 (darh42) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: "Show spam clues" does nothing Initial Comment: I've successfully installed 1.1a6 on Windows 7 and Outlook 2010, 32-bit. Everything else works fine, but the "Show spam clues for current message" doesn't show anything at all, nothing happens. All the other buttons work, so I doubt it's the common Outlook add-in issue. Any ideas or suggestions? TIA ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Cunk (jlmoore) Date: 2011-12-09 06:14 Message: Yeah, I'm seeing this now too. Not sure how long it's been like this since I don't often use this feature but I know I've used it before on this same system. I did upgrade to Office 2007 in just the past few months so it's possible it hasn't worked since then. My system is running Windows XP Home Edition. There is an error logged in the diagnostics log that appears to be related: ------------------------------------------- pythoncom error: Python error invoking COM method. I have three, Exchange server based accounts, the main one filters fine but, it looks like SpamBayes can't open messages that arrive in the other two Inboxes. The log file shows: Traceback (most recent call last): File "out1.pyz/addin", line 346, in _TimerFunc File "out1.pyz/addin", line 118, in HaveSeenMessage File "out1.pyz/msgstore", line 985, in GetField File "out1.pyz/msgstore", line 861, in _EnsureObject msgstore.MsgStoreException: MsgStoreException: Exception 0x80040107 (MAPI_E_INVALID_ENTRYID): OLE error 0x80040107 Also, if I pick "SpamBayes->Filter Messages...", then click the "Browse" button, the only folder I can expand is the first one, if I click any of the others, I get a similar error in the spambayes.log file: ** Unable to open child folder - ignoring MsgStoreException: Exception 0x80040107 (MAPI_E_INVALID_ENTRYID): OLE error 0x80040107 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Robert W (rlweiner) Date: 2011-12-29 12:07 Message: I had the same problem with version 1.1.a6. Tried repairing my Outlook file with Scanpst but no joy. Solved it by uninstalling Spambayes, removing the SpamBayes folder in C:\Users\My_Name\AppData\Roaming, reinstalling, and retraining. This was on Outlook 2007 under Win 7. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Tony Meyer (anadelonbrin) Date: 2004-10-26 14:38 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=552329 Noting dupe in: [ 1036868 ] can not filter more than one inbox-folder ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Tony Meyer (anadelonbrin) Date: 2004-10-25 18:06 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=552329 Noting dupe in: [ 1045098 ] Unable to filter multiple mailboxes in Outlook 2003 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=498103&aid=844824&group_id=61702
