Initial Comment:
Running sb_server.py version 1.1a1 is hogging a HUGE
amount of memory - typically in the range of 500MB. 
Previous version (1.0 something) was much more polite.

This is a known problem (which has been fixed in CVS) with
the alpha.  Please either run from source or use 1.0.4.
