Initial Comment:
Although I've only been using the product for 2 days, I
feel that the message I had to train this morning is
blatant SPAM. So far the filter has tagged 4 messages
as SPAM or unsure. 3 of them I'd consider false
positives. So along with this false negative the filter is
batting .200.

I don't understand your batting reference (not everyone is
American!), but I presume you mean it isn't good.
SpamBayes works based on the training that *you* do. It
doesn't come with any existing knowledge. So if you haven't
trained it on messages like that one, then it wouldn't know
what it was, irregardless of what you yourself know.
