From azinman at media.mit.edu Sun Nov 20 20:09:46 2005 From: azinman at media.mit.edu (Aaron Zinman) Date: Sun, 20 Nov 2005 14:09:46 -0500 Subject: [Shtoom] cant get shecho to work Message-ID: <283598FE-98B4-4961-8F5F-867432620BA6@media.mit.edu> I'd really like to use shtoom/doug to program my shiny new supercool voip app, but I'm just trying to get the basic shecho.py to work and I can't. I've gotten the latest sources from SVN, twisted 2.1, and managed to get it to sign in to gizmoproject/sipphone. But when I call, it connects but I simply do not get any echo back. This is on both a cable modem on OS X and on a red hat enterprise 4 w/a fresh install of python on MIT's network (so bandwidth is not the issue). No firewalls, just direct connection to net. Below is the full log (sorry new to project and don't know what is relevant versus not), any help is most appreciated. I really want this to work so I can hack away! I'm not sure but these particular lines seem suspicious: 2005-11-20T13:52:01.508448 [-] (Port 50268 Closed) 2005-11-20T13:52:01.512674 [-] Stopping protocol 2005-11-20T13:52:01.524135 [-] .handle_media_sample() should only be called only when it is in sending mode.
