[SciPy-User] [ANN] PyFeast v1.1 Released

PyFeast, the feature selection toolkit for Python has just released a
bugfix release v1.1:

Changes:
- Upstream changes to FSToolbox and MIToolbox.
- Improved safe memory handling for large datasets.
- native MIM algorithm instead of wrapping Beta Gamma
- Mutual Information Maximization algorithm has improved performance

If you're using a current version of PyFeast please upgrade.


Algorithm Application: We're currently using PyFeast to identify bacteria
(ie. taxa) to differentiate multiple phenotype in microbial ecology.
