[SciPy-User] Matlab histeq equivalent

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a Matlab histeq equivalent in scipy?

In googling, I have not found such a function other than one here:

This image processing function is common enough I would think it would be
in scipy and want to make sure I am not missing it for some trivial reason.
