I read at <http://cens.ioc.ee/~pearu/scipy/FFTPACK_NOTES.html> that
SciPy's FFTPACK actually interfaces FFTW as well. Apparently they also
do some speed heuristics there. -- FFTPACK devs, is that still
up-to-date?
