I just installed it on a fully-patched Windows XP Pro machine using 
Python 2.6.2 and also got the same, previously-reported error when 
attempting to import it, but I have no familiarity with this package.  
Could this be related to the switch in C compilers between Python 2.5 
and 2.6?
