[SciPy-user] binary installation question

Hi All,

I am wondering if the binary installation packages that are available  
for Mac OS X and Windows are bright enough to link to libraries when  
they are available (e.g. umfpack)?

I don't really want to have to do the whole config build install dance  
(which always seems to require some debugging for me)
