[SciPy-user] ubuntu Edgy Eft and Scipy

Anybody out there running Scipy/NumPy/Matplotlib under Ubuntu Edgy
Eft?  I am considering building a new computer based on AMD socket AM2
stuff, and from what I learned from a guy on the Ubuntuforums, the
hardware works very well under Edgy.  But my main use will be Scipy
related and I don't want a very fast computer that is good for games
and not for work.
