[SciPy-user] No module named __cvs_version__

I get that warning when I execute
scipy.special.chebyt(1)

The error comes from somewhere inside of gen_roots_and_weights

What might be causing this? Also, how can I go about tracking down the
source? I tried by pasting various bits of code from various scipy
files and seeing if error is reproduced, but is there a more efficient
method?
