[SciPy-user] parallel ga (genetic algorithm) support

Hello,

I was thinking of adding parallel evaluation support to the ga module but
I noticed there is already a parallel_pop.py in the ga directory.  This
file makes reference to a number of other python packages that I have
never heard of (remote_exec, beowulf) and that are not part of scipy.  
The code is also formatted strangely (double spaced python code?)  There
is no clear example program I can find.

Does anyone know the status of this work or additional documentation on
it?
