[SciPy-user] zero-size graphic files from scipy.gplt

I am using scipy.gplt to generate plots of simulation time series. 
Every so often, however, plots that are saved to file using output() 
are of zero size, even though the plot looks fine on screen. Has anyone 
run into this problem before? There are no error messages, so this is a 
tough one to debug.

scipy cvs build on OSX 10.3 with python 2.3.3
