[Scipy-organizers] Preparing for the sprints

SciPy organizers, I would like to take part in the sprints after the conference this year.  Do you have any suggestions of how to get ready for them?  I have never taken part in an activity like this and would like to avoid fumbling around during the first few hours. thanks, Brian
