My colleagues and I at NIST have derived enormous benefit from the scientific Python community as a whole and from our participation in past SciPy meetings. As such, we are interested in sponsoring this year's SciPy meeting under the auspices of NIST's Materials Genome Initiative efforts. If you are still seeking sponsors, we would need you to submit a grant proposal that spells out the funds you seek and how they would be applied to support the meeting.
