Hey Greg,
The project "Revamp FFTPACK" also aims at contributing to third party
libraries to fill in functionality gaps. For pyFFTW I can see that work on
adding Real-to-Real transforms has been going on for a long time. So do I
need to continue the work going on in
https://github.com/pyFFTW/pyFFTW/pull/256 as a part of this project? What
needs to be done for the other two libraries? Do I need to make a similar
PR to other two libraries as well?

For all the three libraries there are SciPy-compatible routines already
defined. After getting required information using the newly created
interface I need to use them at the backend, right?
