[SciPy-Dev] Equidistant Sphere Points

Hi All,

For model fitting and numerical integration, I have developed a routine
that generates N equidistant
points on the sphere, by way of an intrinsic gradient flow. Now, I would
like to port it
over to python.

Would there be interest in adding such a function to SciPy?
