Benoît,

I hope you don't mind that I cc'ed this to the scipy-dev mailing list.  I'm
sure other people are interested in this issue.

Weave is not obsolete, but--as you have discovered--the tutorial is old and
not up-to-date.

The change that I made was basically a global search-and-replace of a very
common spelling mistake that existed in many places in scipy.  I did not
take a close look at the tutorial.
