I think it is a great idea. I have found that there are number of useful coding
ideas in Numpy that would be off interest also for non-Python users. One example
is accessing Fortran 90 structures from C in a compiler independent way though
it is well known fact that the layout of these structures depends on a
compiler or even of compiler version.
