It appears that it is still the case that config_fc is ignored when one does bdist_rpm instead of build for building Scipy_core and Scipy. That is, on my system g77 is always used for the build, even when I give the command python setup.py config_fc --fcompiler=absoft bdist_rpm Is there an easy fix?
