[SciPy-dev] issues with scipy and eggs

Hi,

I haven't read the whole thread of scipy/eggs issues yet and I don't use 
eggs myself, so I may miss some important points in the following.

But as I understand you guys want to copy core/scipy/__init__.py to
scipy/Lib/ and the installation of scipy will overwrite core's 
__init__.py. If this is the case, then let's think over and find another 
solution as overwriting __init__.py will certainly cause problems with 
other packaging tools.
