[SciPy-dev] alpha nd_image added

I just added very alpha nd_image port to the SciPy sandbox.

Actually, all I did was fiddle with a numarray compatibility layer until 
the thing compiled.  I have not checked out the
resulting functions to see if they work, but it shows promise.

Perhaps porting compiled numarray apps won't be too hard.  Please feel 
free to play in the sandbox if you are interested.
