[SciPy-dev] tar-ball problem

Hi,

It appears that the scipy source
  SciPy-0.2.0_alpha_144.4350_src.tar.gz
in
  http://www.scipy.org/site_content/download_list
is incomplete: it lacks files in xplt module. This is the reason why users
complain about missing gistCmodule.c file when building scipy.

When I hit
  python setup.py sdist
on my debian box then the resulting tar-ball *is* complete.

So, my guess is that SciPy-0.2.0_alpha_144.4350_src.tar.gz is actually
created in some Windows box (hmm, I am having deja vu).

Could the creation of this tar-ball moved to some linux box?
