Travis and Pearu:

No worry.  I'm extremely sorry if I was rude.  I was trying to get
scipy to build cleanly and ran into lots of trouble.  Maybe I should
have staved off and waited till things stabilized.  

Anyway, things work well for now, f2py is the only problematic
component right now.
