No crash here -- PowerMac 7200/90 running MacOS 8.6 and the preview version of 2.0 final, which as far as I know is identical to the final. PythonInterpreter has 20001 k, virtual memory is off. (However, file events are broken on my machine and possibly for everybody, see my earlier posting and Jack Jansen's reply.) -- Russell
