[Pythonmac-SIG] Looking for a documentation volunteer

Folks,
as you are all undoubtedly aware the MacPython documentation is in a
very sorry state. This is (as usual:-) mainly my fault, as I don't
have the time to keep it up-to-date. But as it looks as if I won't
have the time to update even the most glaring omissions in the near
time (or even near-to-middle-term) I would be very happy if some people
could step in and help here.

Things that need to be done are mainly taking inventory of what is
documented and what isn't, and then (preferrably) writing the
documentation or prodding the author of the undocumented module for
enough information.

The documentation is currently in rather an esoteric TeX format,
incorporated into the main Python documentation, and in the HTML files
in the Mac:Demo folder. While the TeX format has the advantage that
Guido and his CNRI buddies have lots of tools to convert that to PDF
and HTML and such I'd be willing to drop that, if the choice is
between having (a) very outdated documentation and (b) having
up-to-date documentation that may be a little less
platform-independent. After all, the PythonWin documentation also
isn't in the main doc tree, so we're in good company:-)
