Hi all,

I am one of the volunteer organisers for the PyData London series of
meetups and conferences. Proposals are now being accepted for PyData
London Conference 2016, taking place on 6-8 May (1-day tutorial, 2-day
conference). If you work in data science, we would love to hear from you!

The event brings together everyone from the data science community to
discuss new techniques and tools for management, analytics and
visualisation of data. PyData welcomes presentations focusing on Python
as well as other languages used in data science (e.g. R, Julia, etc.).
Presentation content can be at novice, intermediate or advanced level.
Talks will run 30-40 min and hands-on tutorials will run 90-120 min.

PyData presentations are a great way to share knowledge and experience.
We welcome talks on know how tools are used, but discourage any
proposals with the aim of selling a product. If you are interested in
presenting a talk or tutorial, we encourage your submissions. To see the
type of topics presented at previous PyData events, please look at our
past conference sites at pydata.org or check out the videos on
https://www.youtube.com/user/PyDataTV or vimeo.com/pydata.

To submit a proposal:
1. Register on http://pydata.org/london2016/
2. Create a speaker profile
3. Click on "Submit a new proposal"

Conference ticket will be complimentary for speakers. Any questions can
be directed to admin at pydata.org or myself. Proposals deadline is 29
February, 2016.

We hope to hear from you!

Best wishes,
Cecilia
