Sounds like a cracking idea. I've just moved from London to Leeds and although there are plenty of geekery-related events and meet ups, there isn't a python users group. I refuse to believe I'm the only one here so I'm going to try to make something happen. A place for UK-centric discussion, advertising of meetings etc. would be very useful.
