Job Description: Python Developers (Contract)

Prytania Services LLP is currently looking for a number of python
developers to further develop and enhance our leading-edge structured
finance portfolio analysis system. As a developer, your primary
responsibility will be to help create, maintain, and test new and
existing software components. An ideal candidate will have a computer
science or mathematics background, experience in object-oriented
programming, and an interest in finance. No prior experience in
finance is required, but you should be prepared to learn.

creativity, attention to detail, communication and the ability to meet
deadlines are essential skills.

Requirements:
Strong skills in Python and one of the following C#, Java, C++
Excellent knowledge of databases and SQL. We use PostgreSQL and SQLite.
Good knowledge of Linux Environments.
Good knowledge of GUI Development.

Additional Skills Desired:
Experience in Adobe Flex.
Experience with Mercurial, SVN, CVS or other version control system.
Extensive knowledge and overview of open source software.
