That's an overkill.

Here is how I do it.

- I subscribe to emails via gmail and I search my mails.
- Google it ( I use the terms python-sg <keyword>

Search is not a major problem in my opinion. You can have a custom
google search set in your Website (python singapore which is being
planned) which can search the archives pretty well.
