We are pleased to announce that PyCon Sweden will return for its 2020
edition on November 12-13 2020 (Online) and Call for Proposal is now
open. P
ython is a versatile language with a rich ecosystem of tools and
libraries, supporting a wide variety of applications.
This ranges from deep-learning to backend system developments,
scientific research and the list goes on.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we decided that this edition
will be held completely online to ensure safe conference
participation.
We are now calling for a proposal on inspirational talks
(approximately 30 minutes but flexible) from the Python Community.
Furthermore, longer workshops (up to 4 hours) are also welcomed.

Unlike previous editions, this year we are not limited in the number
of talks and workshops.
However, please be realistic in proposing the topic and estimating the
amount of material you can deliver to the audience.
Presentations and workshops will require you to have a modern browser
like Chrome or chromium that has video conference functionality.
The conference will be streamed directly into our YouTube channel and
be available afterwards, similar to previous years.
In particular, the topic of interests are as follow:

*Topics of Interest*
- DevOps
- Testing / Continuous Integration
- Computer and Web Security
- High-Performance / Scientific Computing
- Big Data and Data Science
- Web
- Education
- Career

technical content, and interest to the community, to ensure a
high-quality program for the conference.

Submission deadline: 30 September 2020
