It is an international conference dedicated to modern IT technologies and is organized by a GIK association. The idea behind the conference is to promote Ruby and Python programming languages. The conference should make exchange of knowledge and experiences with international community easier. We have decided to postpone the deadline of submitting "invited talks" for RuPy 2008. We are still missing a few talks to fill up all the spots, therefore we have decided to set a deadline to 31st of January. We also open up submission of "contributed talks" which are aimed at members of local Ruby and Python communities, who might want to give a smaller talk about their smaller (though not necessarily) projects. All our speakers are offered full board and are free to participate in all the RuPy 2008 events (including the "geeks party"). Invited speakers are offered free accommodation as well as a possibility to refund some travel costs if needed. We encourage you to visit our website: http://www.rupy.eu and read through more details. If you are interested, you can submit a talk proposal by sending it to talks at rupy.eu . Shall you have any concerns, questions or suggestions, please don't hesitate to write me back.
