I've not heard of any way of getting at DB2/400 from Python
other than via ODBC. But I'd love to be wrong!

If someone were to port JPython to the '400, you would be able
to use the AS/400 Toolbox for Java's native DB access APIs, but
that would be a pretty major job in itself.

BTW, It's nice to know that there are other '400 types looking
at Python. I'm hoping to do the JPython port eventually, but I
don't know Java yet, so don't hold your breath!
