PROPOSAL: fix tabs & spaces in default library

Just to be overly clear, you meant an indent step of 4 spaces.  Tabulations
called by the TAB character, if it has to be, are OK when set at every 8
columns.  Sorry for discussing such a, euh, hum, "delicate" matter here! :-)
