Python 1.6b1 (PYTHONHOME

Hi All, 
 I'm running Python 1.6b1 under QNX/Neutrino (QRTP) and run into the following
'problem':

# python1.6
Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix>   <---------------
Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]    <---------------
Python 1.6b1 (#2, Aug  6 2000, 00:26:35) [GCC 2.95.2 19991024 (release)] on qnx6

Does anyone know what pathes <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>] refer to.
I have tried different possible pathes ... but w/o succes.

Has PYTHONPATH still a meaning ??
