I have another unanswered question. I asked it a couple of weeks ago but
none of the suggested solutions worked:

How can I reduce the startup time of Python on a/my Windows NT system?

Currently it takes several seconds, which seems unreasonable considering
that it starts in a fraction of a second on a Linux system.
