Not for me:
#!/usr/bin/python -u
import sys
import traceback
print "Content-type: text/html"
print
sys.stderr = sys.stdout
try:
print "as"
print "ax"
except:
print "\n\n<PRE>"
traceback.print_exc()
produces the Apache "Internal Server Error".
